Our Partners
Poway Housing Solutions was created by three award-winning non-profit developers in partnership with the Poway Redevelopment Agency to raise awareness of the value that affordable housing brings to the Poway community.
Together with the Agency, these organizations, Wakeland Housing and Development Corporation, Community HousingWorks and San Diego Interfaith Housing Foundation, have developed most of the 582 apartments that make up Poway’s affordable housing communities.
Community HousingWorks
Community HousingWorks (CHW) is a San Diego nonprofit that helps people and neighborhoods move up in the world by providing a full range of housing options combined with training and support. With a successful 20-year history as a developer, CHW builds and owns beautiful affordable apartments, provides unique first-time homebuyer loans and offers support and training that strengthens communities and helps families build a wealthier future.

SDIHF has earned many awards and recognition from local, national and international groups over the past 25 years and continues to develop award-winning affordable housing in San Diego.
Poway Redevelopment Agency
The goal of the City of Poway’s Redevelopment Agency is to build and maintain a community in which future generations can enjoy the same, if not better, quality of life that Poway residents enjoy today. Since it was formed in 1983, the Redevelopment Agency has invested millions of dollars in the local community. In addition to the affordable housing program, the Agency oversees the creation of new parks and community facilities, new and improved roadways, commercial and industrial revitalization, and enhanced school facilities.
